Structural Features

The silo roof protects the grain from adverse weather conditions such as rain and snow, thereby preventing moisture buildup. This ensures the right quality and quantity of grains for processors.

The tall silo roof is accessible with safe and secure bolted ladders and platforms with safety cages and intermediate rest platforms. The silos are designed to withstand wind loads of 144 Kmph to 225 Kmph and seismic loads of 0.25 g/Zone V.

Advanced Handling and Conditioning: Essae grain storage solutions have efficient chain conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, and sweep augers (flat bottom bins). The chain conveyors are fitted with special bearings with oil seals that withstand harsh negative ambient conditions. A corrosion-proof galvanized steel structure with 300 GSM gives strength and durability to silos. Use of linear UHMWPE bearings helps reduce friction during chain movement. Grain monitoring is possible with windows on conveyors.
